Hung right, or finished twice
Most finish problems are hanging problems. Board run the wrong direction, butt joints landing in the middle of a lit wall, screws set proud or broken through the paper — each one becomes a finishing problem that costs more to bury than it would have cost to avoid.
We plan sheet layout before anything goes up: joints kept off the sightlines, butts staggered and floated where they cannot be avoided, board sized to minimise them in the first place. Type X where the assembly calls for it, moisture-resistant board in wet areas, and the right fastener pattern for the framing behind it.
What we hang
- 01 New construction, additions, ADUs and garage conversions
- 02 Commercial shells and tenant improvements, single or multi-storey
- 03 Type X and rated assemblies, moisture-resistant board to wet areas
- 04 Ceilings, soffits, bulkheads and returns — including high and vaulted work
From bare framing to paint-ready
Drywall sits between every other trade. Getting it in and out cleanly is mostly a question of sequencing — which is why we would rather see the schedule early than be called the week it is due.
Layout & hang
Sheet layout planned against the sightlines, then board hung and fastened to pattern. Rated assemblies detailed as drawn.
Tape & coat
Joints taped, beads set, coats built with drying time between them. Finish level to the spec, from fire tape to Level 5.
Sand & hand over
Sanded, dust contained and cleaned up, then walked with you before the painter is called in.
Priced from drawings as readily as from a walkthrough. Send a set over.
Skim Coating & Level 5
A Level 5 wall is the one nobody comments on.
